My Dear Brothers and Sisters:
In his new encyclical, Caritas in Veritate, Love in Truth, Pope Benedicts XVI talks about how our “openness to God makes us open towards our brothers and sisters and towards an understanding of life as a joyful task to be accomplished in a spirit of solidarity.” It is with this spirit of joyful communion as “One Household of Faith” that we embark upon the 2010 Archbishop’s Appeal campaign.
