The Archdiocese of San Antonio is seeking a full-time qualified candidate for the position of Associate Communication Director for Spanish Media. Responsibilities for this position include to provide input into social media and other forms of print and electronic outreach; serve as spoke person for the Archbishop, when necessary, in all matters affecting the Church in Spanish; conduct proficient media interviews to Spanish language media in delivering the message of the Church accurately and in a culturally appropriate manner; and provide precise translation of official documents, statements, letters, etc. from the Archbishop in Spanish, to include news releases, and other documents for distribution to Spanish language television, radio, newspaper, parishes, internet services, and other institutions.

Director of Development- Seton Home

Seton Home located on Mission Road in San Antonio is seeking an exceptional candidate for the full time role of Director of Development.

The Development Director will have primary responsibility for establishing and implementing the infrastructure needed to grow a $5M budget by systematically and effectively strengthening the organizations overall fundraising capacity. Provide leadership, strategic direction, management, and coordination of all fundraising efforts. Create fundraising strategies that increase the organizations support from the public, foundations, government and other sources through the solicitation of major gifts, planned giving, federal and state grants, special events, and corporate and foundation support. Expand and diversify Seton Homes donor base/pipeline and work closely with other team members to secure funding for new initiatives. Develop objectives and programs for improved public relations and marketing of Seton Home and manage all fund development and marketing collateral internally and externally. Represent Seton Home on government entities, committees, coalitions, and foundation trustee meetings. Proactively communicate progress to President & CEO and the Board of Governors and work closely with the Board in their fundraising role.

Youth Care Workers- Seton Home (Casa De Milagros)

Seton Home is seeking individuals who want to make a difference in the life of a pregnant or parenting teenager by caring for them and their baby. This job requires all applicants to be fully bilingual. Applicants must be able to write, read and speak English and Spanish at all times.

Shifts available are:
Full-Time PM Shifts- 2 pm to 10 pm
Full-Time Overnight Shifts 10pm-6am or 11pm-7am
Part-Time PM Shifts-2pm-10pm & Overnight Shifts-10pm-6am or 11pm-7am
PRN As needed

Maintenance/Handy Man- MACC

The Mexican American Catholic College (MACC) is seeking a qualified candidate for the position of Maintenance/Handy Man. Principle responsibilities include: upkeep of buildings, grounds, landscaping and HVAC; set up of conference rooms and classrooms to include visual equipment; periodically assist with custodial and housekeeping duties; and perform other duties as assigned. Candidate must carry a cell phone for on-call maintenance and may be required to work hours other than regular schedule such as on call or emergency response situations.

Candidate must have a high school diploma or GED; at least five years of experience in building repair and maintenance; a general knowledge of working with HVAC systems; and must be bilingual and speak Spanish comfortably.
