Melkite clergy from around the United States gathered in San Antonio in mid-September for their national clergy convocation. On the Feast of the Holy Cross, a Hierarchal/Pontifical Divine Liturgy was held September 14 at San Fernando Cathedral, with both Archbishop Gustavo GarcĆa-Siller, MSpS, and Bishop Nicholas J. Sampra of the Melkite Greek Catholic Eparchy of Newton, Massachusetts, presiding.
