Retreat a time and place to clarify calling in life

A Life Awareness Religious Vocation Discernment Retreat is being hosted early next year for young adults by the archdiocesan Vocation Office.

Life Awareness is a retreat event that provides time and space for single men and women to discern a vocation to the priesthood and consecrated life. The event brings participants together with priests, religious brothers and Sisters for a weekend of lectures, group discussions, private consultations and prayer to help participants develop a realistic view of what it’s like to serve God and the Church in today’s world.

Mass at the gathering will be celebrated by Archbishop Gustavo García-Siller, MSpS, and the event is financed by the Archbishop’s Appeal for Ministries.

The Life Awareness Retreat will take place at the Cordi-Marian Retreat Center at 11624 Culebra Road Jan. 14-16, 2022.

Registration is required and can be done by visiting www.archsa.org/vocations. For more information contact the Vocation Office at [email protected] or call (210) 735-0553.

The faithful can show their support by continuing to pray for vocations and by encouraging and invite young adults to consider a vocation to the priesthood or religious life, and support those in your parish already in formation.
