ABOUT THE PROGRAM

The Synod of Bishops on Young People, the Faith and Vocational Discernment that was held in Rome on October 2018, along with Pope Francis’ Post Synodal Exhortation  Christus Vivit, represent important milestones in the development of Young Adult Ministry throughout the world.

With such milestones in mind, the Archdiocese of San Antonio has designed a formation program for current and potential young adult ministry leaders that will allow them to fruitfully understand and implement the teachings of the Synod in their parishes, campus, and organizations. The program will offer an ideal setting for all participants to analyze the realities that young adults face in the Archdiocese of San Antonio as they discern the tasks they will be called to undertake in light of the Exhortation.
