Support Our Discerners

Our aspirants have taken a deeper step in their discernment, and the Archdiocese is blessed in their act of faith and fidelity. However, as always, there needs. How can you help?

1) Prayer

Prayer is always step one in any process of discernment. Our aspirants regularly gather in prayer, and they need your prayers as well. Pray that God guide them in His will. Pray also for all who are discerning their vocations in the Archdiocese.

2) Resources

We are building this Discernment House project from the ground up. We need help with resources that make our daily life of prayer and accompaniment possible. We would like to offer you the opportunity to support our men, and have them support you back in prayer. All those who donate the cost of one of these resources will have their name included on the inside cover of that resource. That way we can pray for you daily – or you can dedicate the donation to someone you would like us to keep in prayer. See the list below. Anything with an asterisk is still available for sponsorship:

  • English Roman Missal – Sponsored by Gladys and Fabian Janysek
  • Spanish Roman Missal – Sponsored by Gladys and Fabian Janysek
  • English Lectionary I ($70)*
  • English Lectionary II ($70)*
  • English Lectionary III ($70)*
  • English Lectionary IV ($70)*
  • Spanish Lectionary I ($70)*
  • Spanish Lectionary II ($70)*
  • Spanish Lectionary III ($70)*
  • Breviaries in English (we are hoping for 10 @ $42 each)*
  • Breviaries in Spanish (we are hoping for 10 @ $40 each)*

3) Donate for the future of the house

While we are honored to be with Assumption Seminary in their Lopez Hall to begin this endeavor, our plan is to have an actual stand-alone Discernment House one day. This of course will take planning and development of significant funds. If you feel called to help us in building such funds, please contact us and we can discuss options. Any amount of support is appreciated.
