Business Office

The archdiocesan Business Office provides accounting and financial services to the Pastoral Center, agencies, and the archdiocese as a whole.


 -Parishes provide support for the administrative functions of the Pastoral Center; the Business Office is responsible for the coordination and allocation of the funds to the approved budget of each agency.

-The office records and administers approved Second Collections and Special Collections, maintains the Deposit and Loan Fund, provides budget and planning assistance to agencies, and prepares monthly financial statements for the operations of the Pastoral Center.

-Parishes and schools are required to record all financial transactions online through the standard web-based accounting software, ParishSoft Connect Now Accounting (CNA). The Business Office is responsible for maintaining the accounting system(s).

-The office provides individual and compiled reports for all parishes and schools, provides training for parish and school personnel for bookkeeping, internal controls, reconciliations, budgeting, and financial statement preparation.

-The office is responsible for the annual Pastoral Center financial audit, the Parish and School Compilation, and the audit of the Lay Pension Plan.

-The Business Office maintains the Lay Pension plan, employer contributions, and all annual tax filings.
