Archbishop Gustavo was released from the hospital this afternoon, October 3, and is resting comfortably at home. Some adjustments are being made regarding upcoming events on the archbishop’s schedule for the near future. Archbishop Gustavo said, “I want to thank everyone for your affection and prayers. I am feeling much better, thanks be to God. As a patient, I can appreciate all the work of those who serve our infirm brothers and sisters. I pray that more of us can become involved in the pastoral care of the sick; to accompany the sick through prayer and visits to hospitals. May our Lord care and heal those who are suffering from any illness.”
