Marriage Preparation Ministry

Mission Statement

We come together, guided by the Holy Spirit to:

• Enlighten and enrich the hearts of engaged couples
• Live and transmit the truths of the faith
• Intentionally grow and walk together as a mission of service
• Fully understand and accept God’s plan of a Christ-centered covenant through the Sacrament of Holy Matrimony

The TIME ministry is made up of 4-5 couples who work together guided by the mission statement, to formulate a marriage preparation program designed to prepare and sustain marriages in the Catholic Church. The program is made up of six modules, as well as action-oriented required events. Each classroom module is facilitated by a team couple with the support of other team members present. The topics and details of each module are below for your reference. The team has met regularly since January 2020.

The cost of the program is $100 which includes the following:

• Catholic Study Bible
• The Five Love Languages (book written by Gary Chapman)
• Prayer Book for Engaged Couples (Austin Fleming)
• 101 Tips for a Happier Marriage (Jennifer Roback Morse)
• Supplies (journals, paper, pens, snacks, etc.)
• Light breakfast and lunch

Class Days/Times

The retreat is from 9 a.m.-5 p.m., ending with 6 p.m. Mass.
