Are you called to serve God by serving others? Do you feel the desire to use your time and talent to build the Kingdom of God? We all have special talents or gifts, which are a sign of our unity as one Body of Christ. As St. Paul tells us, “There are different kinds of spiritual gifts but the same Spirit; there are different forms of service but the same Lord; there are different workings but the same God who produces all of them in everyone. To each individual the manifestation of the Spirit is given for some benefit” (1 Corinthians 12: 4-7). Our talents and gifts are not given to us just for our own use but so that we may enrich the lives of others. St. Peter tells us, “Each one of you has received a special grace, so like good stewards responsible for all these different graces of God, put yourselves at the service of others” (1 Peter 4:10).

Volunteer Your Time

Volunteers are essential in fulfilling the Church’s mission to serve the People of God. Volunteers in the Archdiocese are encouraged to share their faith and talents while performing volunteer service. We pray that you are encouraged to partake in this mission by volunteering your valuable gifts as we work together as one body to make disciples and missionaries of Jesus Christ.
