Welcoming new American citizens

Catholic Charities of San Antonio recently participated in a naturalization ceremony hosted by Mayor Ron Nirenberg and the City of San Antonio as well as J. Antonio Fernández, CEO/president of Catholic Charities, to celebrate World Refugee Day. The event was a significant occasion where individuals officially became new American citizens after years of hard work and dedication.

The atmosphere at the ceremony was filled with joy as we welcomed these new Americans in their journey towards fulfilling their dreams and embracing new opportunities in their adopted homeland. The occasion celebrated diversity, resilience, and the strength of the human spirit. We look forward to supporting them as they continue their journey in the United States.

At Catholic Charities, we are committed to providing support and resources to help welcome and successfully integrate new Americans into the community. Through programs such as refugee resettlement, we aim to offer assistance and guidance to individuals and families as they adjust to their new lives in America.
